At the end of July I went to Sicily, Italy to visit my brother and his family. Spent a great afternoon in the Valley of the Temples. Here is the website: https://www.parcovalledeitempli.it/en/

Temple of Hera Lacinia (Juno)

My sister-in-law who held down the family ALL WEEK. She's awesome like that.

The southern city wall. The coves were once used for holding bodies/ashes.

Section demonstrating the machinery used to build the temples.

Temple of Concordia - the most intact ancient greek temple. Over numerous rules, this is the only temple untouched. When the Christian's came, they built a monastery inside.
