Anglesey is an island of the north west coast of Ireland an access is gained by either the Britannia or the Menai Suspension bridge. In Welsh the island is known as Ynys Môn. The island contain some of my favourite beaches in the world and the amazing thing is that many of them are virtually empty even in the height of the season
Abberfraw never seems busy no matter what time you go it feels like you have it to yourself and its always an exciting moment as you come to the top of the river inlet and see what delights it has for you today
At one time the Abberfraw was the capital of the kingdom of Gwynned
Rhosneiger is a great beach but is the opposite of Abberfraw because it has become a water sports Mecca over the last few years.
