A visit to the Lake District

The Lakes are a great place to escape to, they can be very busy and crowded but it is still possible to escape the crowds and enjoy the peace

Grange Over Sands is a great example of this you can walk into the town which is never as busy as some of the other town or you can enjoy the views over the bay

A visit to the beach early one morning found an isolated beach apart from the waders

Coniston can be busy but a short walk out of the town and you could be the only one in the Lake District

When the weather hits it can hit really hard. It was so cold when I took this that most of the waterfall had frozen

Holker Hall is a lovely place to while away a few hours and enjoy something to east. The house is the home of Lord and Lady Cavandish although most of it is Victorian there are a few parts of the original 16th century house still left

This incredible old gentleman was just lay on the grass outside the hall without a care in the world
