An autumn visit to the Lakes

The Lake District is a great place for a photographer to visit especially if you get away from the crowded areas

Thirlmere is the reservoir just below Helvellyn and is always a lovely place to walk around and unlike the great hill it is never crowded

Some of the walk is around roads so dogs would need to be kept on a lead

Haverthwaite in the snow at Christmas is a peaceful place to wonder around

The appropriately named White House at Levens looked great surrounded by the snow
