More Welsh journeys

Over the last few years my Catherine and I have had the joys of discovering the soul food that it is Wales

The gold mine at Cefn Coch was in operation between 1862-1866; 1873-1877 and 1889-1914. Many of its buildings can still be found for very little effort walking into the hills

The view across the hills is also great as well

You can't go to Wales without watching some rugby. We spent the day at the Sion Wyn 7s, at Machynlleth RFC. If you are in the area in early August it is a great day out for all the family and raises a lot of money as well

If you go across to Anglesey, you should pay at visit to Red Wharf Bay and enjoy a pint and a meal at the Ship Inn, which has great food and good bear and is well worth thee visit.

Borth y Guest is very much a hidden treasure that is worth the visit

The view across the Looking out on the Glaslyn Estuary is also a great view

Every day should end with a view along the Mawddach Estuary which is just the best place to make all your problems go away
