Like Running On Water

I must say the Snowy Egret is one of my favorite birds!

Caught this guy at sunrise on take off.. late summer… Too cold now for these birds they have left for warmer climate!!
I may do the same!!! I wish!!! ;-)

Enlarge to anticipate take off!! I like this bird alot because he has orange feet!! ;-)

To me it looks like he is ice skating. Gearing up for his triple axle. This is a very nice shot. I like the orange feet too!

what a fantastic capture! so much tension in the this photo - it's excellent. i'm glad to see some more bird postings - too bad it's too cold for ANYTHING in their right mind to be living outdoors. and just like my mom said - i just love his hair!

Great light in this shot ... but to me, what makes it, is the feathers rushing back on the top of his head! Great reflection too. Fantastic job Sheri!
