We spent a couple of days at Pilanesberg National Park. This park is hilly but surrounded by a large expanse of flat area so it comes into view way before reaching the park. I was surprised by how much water was in the park and the lakes. Photos taken in 2018.
I dont know how you feel Krista- but when traveled the game parks I so wished I had a super big wide angle lens. The vistas were so vast a single photo didnt do them justice. Loved your images.
I also wished I had a wide angle lens and also a better telephoto lens 🤣! I love the environment of South Africa. Can't wait to return this year. I just upgraded my camera so I'm hoping to get even better images for my last season in South Africa.

Absolutely stunning. I have many happy memories in Pilansberg! I am now living closer to Kruger National Park.
Kruger is also beautiful but Pilansberg has its special charm. Can't wait to go back this year!
