The Davis Stream Preserve is located in the heart of Jefferson, Maine. The preserve is almost completely surrounded by the Davis Stream. It protects over 2,800 feet of stream frontage and includes wetland and waterfowl habitat. This meandering branch of Davis Stream was once the main stream channel which has since migrated due to movement of the stream banks. A half-mile trail winds its way along the stream bank through a variety of ecosystems found in the floodplain and upland forests.
