I took a walk through the Soul Al Manzil on the same day when I took photos of the post A walk around Al Manzil district.
Souk Al Manzil is located within the Manzil Downtown Hotel building in Dubai Downtown opposite to Souk Al Bahar and Palace Downtown Hotel. This souk/ marketplace is smaller compared to Souk Al Bahar and other souks across Dubai. But that does not take away the fun here. There are restaurants, organic farmers market, Spinneys supermarket, souvenir shop, dry cleaners, huge parking area and Manzil Downtown Hotel too.
Now here are few photos which I took. I didn't take photos of any shops, supermarkets, restaurants or so. My photos include just the interior of the Souk Al Manzil.
As I entered the souk, I saw these two house-keeping staff having a little chat along. I didn't want to ruin their talk and just took only 2 shots from this area.
In the above picture you can see the big plant pots and the whole of this place is decorated with these pots and the beautiful White Anthurium flowers
And then as I walked forward this chandelier caught my eyes. This is very artistic and has a very traditional look to it. On the whole the souks here have a traditional Arabic touch to most of the things and the interiors.
And then again as I walked the sunlight peeping through these ceiling and windows caught my attention. I'm not that good at taking this kind of shots.
And this is the center part of this souk. Towards the very right is the Spinneys supermarket. And to the left is restaurant, farmers market, a dental clinic, cafe etc. Walking straight and taking the elevator down will take you to the vast parking area underground. Moreover this souk have many entrances/exits leading to the surrounding residential districts.
As I got outside of the souk they have placed this pot with a traditional look as a show piece and this one looks really good. I'm not sure what the metal/material of this pot is as I didn't touch it.
On the wall on top of the pot this wall piece was fixed. It seems like a very large plate and the carved kind of floral designs is very appealing.
I have walked through this souk several times in the last 2+ years, but now that I have a camera everything in here seems so beautiful and new to me. As if I'm walking here for the first time.
I hope you guys also enjoyed walking with me through Souk Al Manzil. Do let me know your thoughts on these photos. Could I have done much more better with taking these photos and editing them. I would love to hear your thoughts and critiques.
Thanks all for following me on this short walk :)
