Richtersveld Safari 2013: Day Seven (Kokerboomkloof)

KOKERBOOMKLOOF CAMP SITE
The best ‘inland’ campsite in the park. Worthy of several nights’ stopover. The silence is numbing and the plant life fascinating. Kokerboom (Quiver-tree) Kloof is an ideal base for long walks.
Stuck in the mountains away from the river, this camp is murderously hot in summer, but exquisite in winter.
The 8 Campsites are serviced by Dry Toilets. No water is available on site and the nearest water point is at Richtersberg (32 km) away.
