This is a very moving photo, perfect angle and focus, does make you pause a bit to think, very nice.

I think it presents an opportunity to exercise a different kind of empathy or connection...whether or not people make use of that opportunity is another question.

Nice photo. Couldn't answer the question however. I sometimes feel empathy with caracters in books, so I might feel empathy with "caracters" on social media too. There's a smaller chance I get to know 'm enough to develop empathy, but the same thing is a fact for most people I meet in real life. I think.
