Dragons in the mountain

by Pete March. 18, 2019 250 views

I was fortunate to go and hike on the Kleinplaas dam trail in the Table Mountain national park. Saw some Dragonflies. The Cape skimmer (Orthetrum
julia capicola), was a "Lifer" for me.

These are all wonderful, but I especially love #1. Way to nail the composition with a difficult-to-capture subject!

One of our universities have an animal demographic unit where photographers help contribute to a number of projects by submitting photos and location. This helps you learn the ID and makes it fun to try and see all the different species. Similar to bird watching :-)
