The Open Road

I recently enjoyed the "Circle Tour" of Lake Superior on a motorcycle. Despite dropping my camera at around 40mph/80kph my wife's little Canon Elph1100 kept working! Granted it had to be bent back into shape but even all banged up that little guy kept taking decent shots. Here are a few

What a blast that must have been! Tough little camera doing a nice job for you, despite the mishap! Fascinating series. Really gives me the "itchy feet" to get out on the road!

Thanks, Jay. It was a blast. We haven't gotten to the broken camera pics yet but I dare say it will be hard to tell the difference. I laughed hysterically when that little guy started working again. I saw it bounce on the road in one of my mirrors and thought for sure it was dead. Especially when a car was headed right for it!

You should send your story to Canon! They might send you a present! Would be a great promo story!
