Hot Air Balloon Race

So many vivid colors.

I couldn't believe how close they were together.

I thought every balloon would be launching at the same time but there were people already ascending as others were getting theirs inflated.

I was amazed that no one really hit each other taking off.

Some different balloon shapes, a strawberry, a clown, a pig, and a ladybug.

This gentleman was a former champion from Japan…he was having some issues getting off the ground.

Right after he got off the ground he was headed straight for this tree but managed to veer out of the way at the last second.

He's holding something in his hands, maybe a camera or gps or other weather device.

3+3

The pig balloon that never got off the ground.

This team had some bad luck, wind kept hitting the side of the balloon and collapsing it.

These are all fantastic shots! I love to see this kind of races, beautiful balloons and exciting moments. The pig (24) was too heavy :)) to get up and the funeral home advertising in shot 18 would not be a balloon I would enter...lol. Great set.
