Julie gets the credit for this idea, shes said that the colored christmas lights glowing from behind our icicles looked really cool, and I agree:)

Further proof, if such were needed, that you should always listen to your wife. It took me a while going down these images to work out how they came about. It was a pleasant journey. I would have been tempted not to include Nos. 8 and 9 and let the rest of us squirm wondering...
