117. Munnar tea plantation

by Soubhagya Sagar Behera February. 22, 2010 2830 views

As I had mentioned earlier I suppose, Munnar hills are home to many private tea plantations. These make very fine subjects for photography.
Different times different angles different places!

Although taken in bright sunlight, modified using a bw filter in photoshop in darker blending mode in lower opacity.
I guess it gives a vintage kinda look!

My carriage! ;)

Road to nowhere
A HDR image using three exposures.

Late morning …

I guess the oblique rays with polarizer do not do much justice to the sky but i like the shine removed off the land a lot!

I just realized I have never actually seen a tea plant, not even a photo! Beautiful region and I just love the way you framed the 4 shot! Just beautiful, Soub!

Very nice set soubhagya , the polariser works well IMO , but if you really nead a detailed sky go for a Graduated filter atleast GND8 will do the trick for a strong hardlights..
best regards ,
