Travelling by train in India can be great fun, provided you are carrying an open mind and a sense of humour along on the journey.

A.H. Wheeler is a chain of book-stalls you'll notice all over India.

One person sets out to travel, six come to see him off! This is a favourite national sport - seeing people off on rail journeys.

      I love train journeys in India - they're so, so different from anything one would experience in the UK.

      I love that your "slice of life's" are so different than mine. (and yet, some the same ;-)...)
