Shimla's been sweltering these past few days, so everyone's making a bee-line for the sugarcane juice guy! Nothing like a tall glass of fresh sugarcane juice, with a dash of salt & a little squeeze of lime.

I wouldn't know what y'all are talking about, being a teetotaller and all!!

Kate, the lime juice & salt addition is a subcontinental variant, methinks.

Just to demonstrate that I'm weird, my mind went for a Caipirinha instead of tequilla. But, it being Cinco de Mayo, tequilla would be good. Thanks again for the slice of life scene.

Looks interesting, but I must say I prefer mine distilled with malt barley, as squeezed out in Scotland, where it's nice and cold...

I'm with MizB. Slip in some tequila and I'm willing to try it.

Lovely. I've had sugar cane juice in Queensland but I don't recall the salt and lime. (are you sure you aren't drinking Tequila??)
