I'm a few months late on 365. I totally forgot about it until I was looking back and saw my other 365. I thought: omg! I have to do that again! It was great to look back on that year and remember all that had happened, and it was even greater this time. This was (is) def. “our year”.Last 365 was april of ‘08 to april of ’09…so I did may of ‘09 to june of ’10… because let's face it…after what happened at the end of June, there is nothing that tops it so far. :) :) So this is a year…and then a little bit extra.Tony and I don't do fancy dinners usually to celebrate things, we are comfy and casual, so for our anniversary (celebrated both our 5 year and 6 year wedding anniv. since the last 365!) we invited friends over and had root beer floats. :)
The best trip I've ever had. (and I've had some awesome ones)My sister and I going to visit my brother and sister in law in Oregon. My first plane ride, fairieworld, seeing the Ocean from the west-side for the first time, etc etc etc…but mainly, getting to live out one of my #1 dreams since I was 8 years old…riding a horse on the beach of the ocean! And it did not disappoint!!
Tony started back to school. This was my surprise to him. Cleaned off a desk and set it up with all the supplies he would need and motivational pictures and papers.I am very proud of him. He wanted to go back to make a better life for us and now with Drew, he is extra motivated to get finished so he can get a better job/better money for his family.
My awesome co-workers whom I miss still, decorating my cubicle to the nines for my birthday. Also this picture symbolizes me getting a new better more permanent job (just moving a building over) and even though I had to leave my friends here, I'm glad to work with awesome people over at the job I have now as well!!
I got to see LSU play !! Wooooo!
One of my best friends, Abigail, got married and joined the ring club. ;)
For Halloween Tony and I got to be Capt Kirk and Spock, perfect for us trekkies…. It was a great party.
Annual trip to Mer and David's in Montgomery , Alabama for the 4th of July was great, of course!!
Thanksgiving with the family is always a highlight. Me with my sister and my nieces.
Tony and I got to celebrate a very different and special kind of Christmas. ♥
Christmas movie night with Mikey and Liz, which started our tradition of “movie night” we have every now and then together!
I got to go with the whole family to a SAINT'S GAME in New Orleans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and my bro.Certainly a top 3 highlight.
Dave!, Tony and I took a trip to Dallas to see our peeps Heather and Kirk and it was so much fun!!!
This pic (from my birthday) just symbolizes the birthdays and get together's and celebrations we had with our great friends!
Um, DEFINITE highlight. :)
New Years! Was a very fun night and I remember not even being able to stay up until midnight because that was beginning of “baby growing inside of you draining all of your will to live” stage.
THE SAINTS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Upgraded BIG time to a new spectacular plasma HD TV!
It snowed. It SNOWED! (This only happens about once in every 5 years in Louisiana, so it was a big deal)
My “Ugh. Sigh. I have to have a root canal” face.Any kind of surgery scares me so I was slightly freaked out but it wasn't near as bad as people made it out to be. I was sore for maybe 2 days and then I was fine! But I was still mad at myself because I've always had the best teeth/ never any cavities. That'll teach me to let the dentist stay on the “to do” list for too long.
The winter Olympics!! I am a major Olympics freak so this made me super happy.
Being pregnant and all the adventures that went with it, and this was my first “mother's day”. (Mother-to-be Day, haha)
My baby shower. We had 3 baby showers and 3 births this year!
/happy sigh. The birth of our son, Drew. The End. or should I say…..The Beginning.:)
