Twelve large, granite blocks have been placed in a semicircle around the cenotaph in Peterborough, Ontario, listing the names of those who fought in the World Wars and the Korean War. Those who died in these wars are listed on the front of the monument.

      Thank you. We have our Remembrance Day on Thursday. Everyone in Canada takes a 2 minute silence break to think about how fortunate that we are, to thank the veterans and to think about the freedoms which we have thanks to these brave women and men. People gather at public memorials such as this to celebrate our freedom and give thanks.
