Darling Wildlife Area

  • Posted April 13, 2012 by Dave Viewed 653 times

I went for a hike today and wildlife was waiting to be photographed. I saw my first Heron of the season, Blue Jays, a waterfowl in the distance (maybe an American Merganser) and a sleeping porcupine high in an old maple.

Heron

Blue Jay

Possibly an American Merganser. It was a pretty far distance away and through the trees to the river.

Porcupine sleeping. It looks pretty tattered.
