Daily Reflection

Today ended with 27 net carbs and the same in total carbs.  Most of my food items either didn't have fiber to subtract or, in the case of the tortillas, I have MFP set up to count the net carbs, with fiber already subtracted.

As I was cooking the eggs and sausage, I considered just eating them as-is but decided to make a taco with them.  It was quite tasty and, as a Texan, helps fulfill my ongoing taco needs.

Mid afternoon I made a Ham and Cheddar Roll-up, although it didn't really roll.  I got a new cheddar that is yellow and white cheddar mixed together so it just broke apart when I tried to roll it.  Both were 0 carbs, so a nice snack.

After work I decided to try my new Atkins treat, which is supposed to be like Peanut M&Ms.  It wasn't quite the same but pretty close and it was nice to have a not-as-dark chocolate for once.  Only one net carb for a decent sized serving, about the same as a snack pack of M&Ms.

At dinner I ordered from a downtown restaurant, love UberEats.  I got roast chicken with asparagus and mashed cauliflower.  It all tasted great, especially since I didn't have to cook it.

I have to say, these sugar free Meringues did not last long, I finished off the chocolate and my brother finished off the vanilla.  I've ordered two more packages of each but they're too pricey to be an ongoing treat, even if they are 0 carbs.  I'll have to find a recipe and try making my own.

I was still craving something sweet and eyed the pimento cheese I had bought.  This resulted in another wrap with the pimento cheese and ham.  The wrap really added onto the carbs so next time I'll try just spreading the cheese on the ham and eating it that way.

I'm quite pleased that I got very close to my 10,000 steps.  I've been working on going out and walking during my lunch break.  Then after work I mowed the front and back yards, which added a lot to it.
