Daily Reflection

While today was a little better than yesterday, it's still a lot over where I should be.  I count 59.5 net and MFP has 72 total carbs.  Again eating out did me in even though I worked to make carb conscious choices.

Breakfast today was sausage and egg tacos, with most of the carbs coming from the tortilla, but still well under 10.

We didn't eat again until after 4pm and went to Cracker Barrel.  I got the trout and green beans, good low-carb options I thought but both were 5 or more carbs.  I did choose to get a baked sweet potato and added butter, which was a really nice treat and I highly enjoyed it but that did make up the bulk of my carbs for the meal.  I did also have a biscuit, which was also delicious and fewer carbs than the sweet potato.  Overall I feel like the documented carb count on this meal is higher than it should be, I don't know how my fish was so many carbs with no breading or anything and my sweet potato was a small one so I'm not sure how accurate that is either.

This evening I started prepping for Thanksgiving and made the "cornbread" for the dressing, which I did eat one piece of and didn't document (whoops).  A tenth of the pan is only three carbs and I had a 1-inch cube, which is at least half of a serving.  While the oven was running I also made a batch of Peanut Butter Surprise cookies which don't really have the cookie texture and could be sweeter but were edible.  Also, my refill orders of the Meringue cookies came in and I ate a serving of the chocolate ones; they're 0 carbs so I'm not adding them now either, since I forgot to earlier.

Tomorrow we're just going to a local park and maybe do some shopping, so I should have more control over my eating.  I already have some meat thawing in the fridge so hopefully tomorrow will be better.
