Today's net carbs came in at 38.5 and total carbs are showing as 58, which isn't too bad considering that I opted to eat some french fries and made a miscalculation with my Sonic drink.
We didn't eat at all until the afternoon, opting for Five Guys, so yummy. I got my burger in a bowl, rather than lettuce wrap, so I could do mushrooms and mayo (which is a bit messy for the lettuce). I normally just don't order french fries to avoid the temptation but we got a small for all of us to share and I definitely had my share and they were tasty. I love eating there, everything is always so good.
We did some shopping in the evening and stopped at Sonic for drinks on the way home, my mom is a Sonic-a-holic. I got one as well, Coke Zero, and made the mistake of having them add Vanilla, which isn't sugar free. On the plus side, I entered it not long after returning home and didn't drink anymore once I saw it was over 20 carbs for the Vanilla, so I only had about half of it. It's especially frustrating when I have my own sugar-free vanilla flavoring at home.
Also this evening I made a grilled cheese sandwich with my low carb bread. I also made one for my mom and brother to share and they were both impressed with the bread, saying it was very close to regular bread. I used 0 carb American cheese and almost no carb Canadian Bacon, resulting in a fairly low carb meal once the fiber is subtracted from the bread.
The last thing I had was a serving of Halo Top Birthday Cake Ice Cream. The rest of my family got Blizzards from Dairy Queen on the way home from Five Guys but having indulged in fried, I refrained and had the Halo Top later.
We also did quite a bit of walking which is also good.
