Today's net carbs came out to 20.5 and total carbs were 37. While this doesn't seem too bad, that's all from one meal plus desserts (mostly the desserts). While not eating anything until dinner definitely helps keep the carb count down, it does result in getting them all at once, which some people think is bad but others prefer.
I drove about an hour to a Buc-ee's this morning to transfer my grandma to my aunt. I forgot to weight before I left so I made sure not to eat or drink anything while I was out. Once I got home, nothing looked appealing so I took a nap. After that, my brother and I went shopping and got Chipotle to bring home. I've not been there often and while they have a salad, it's built the same as their bowls but with less content. The grand total of my salad was the barbacoa, cheese, guacamole, and lettuce (and not near enough of that).
The salad didn't last long and it wasn't too long until I was hungry again and broke out the Thanksgiving desserts. I had the Caramel Pecan Pie squares for the first time since making them. I'm fairly certain I overbaked it since the caramel pecan topping is hard and crunchy instead of soft and gooey. The crust underneath isn't too bad but will separate from the hard crust. I also had some more of the Peanut Butter Pie and, after putting some in a container to take to work tomorrow, that finished it off. My brother also finished off the Pumpkin Pie, so all that's left is the squares.
Luckily, all that walking in the stores helped give me a decent number of steps for the day, which was nice. I'm surprised I even had as many of the red-dot step sections as much time as I spend in the car this morning.
Also, happily, my weight is back down a little. I'm still not down to the lowest I've gotten, so that's my goal for this week, but it didn't go up any more or stay the same, at least not yet. Besides eating the Thanksgiving leftovers, I'll be working on restricting my carb intake in order to maximize additional loss this coming week.
