Daily Reflection

Today's net carbs came in at 30, with total carbs counting to 41.  Today was by first day back on the wagon and I really didn't have any trouble sticking to it.  It helps that I ate at home and, even though I went out, I didn't get any fast food while out.

I fasted until around noon (I did drink water, just didn't eat).  Around 11:30 I put some bacon to cook in the oven, great way to cook it if you've never done so.  When it was mostly done I cooked a couple of eggs and had them with a Bai Coconut Water.  Also during that time, the freezer we ordered during Black Friday was delivered so I'm excited about how that will help me with the low carb eating.  Even though it's not that big, it will give me a little more leeway in buying things on sale or in larger quantities and in being able to make things ahead of time and freeze them.

After work I had my tires rotated and then drove to Kroger and bought some frozen stuff.  The main point was to get some Halo Top to take to my mom but I grabbed some stuff for me too.

Once home, I was able to finish off the last of the Thanksgiving Leftovers, although I did have to eat quite a bit of the mashed cauliflower.  All that is still left is the meats, turkey and ham, each of which I divided into two Ziplocs and put in the freezer.

Later in the evening I also finished off the last of the desserts, the Pecan Pie Squares.  Thanksgiving is officially over in our house now.
