Well, it sure is summer here in San Jose, California. Lots of sun, blue sky, and warm temps.
When these guys were in high school, they were known as "The Cool Kids". Unfortunately, they cut class a lot and partied hard, so they didn't really learn much. But I bribed their way into a good college by faking that they would be great members of the varsity retrieving team.
It's also summer at the horse ranch. About 1/3 of the ranch is dedicated to agriculture. Berry picking is now upon us.
Many of the berry pickers are small kids, and our horses are kid magnets as we ride past the berry area.
This field will signal the end of summer. This is where they are now planting the pumpkins, and when they're grown and picked, it'll be time for winter.
