Macro Uh-Oh!

by Stefan Puffer January. 05, 2020 807 views

Macro photography has always interested me and I've done a little here and there but only with a Canon G7 point and shoot in macro mode. While it was okay, it wasn't something that you could really get up close and personal with. Recently I purchased a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro and it is very challenging to say the least. Hopefully this coming spring I'll be able to really put it to use on my days off from work but I can tell you that I already have a new appreciation for professional macro photographers because there is a lot more to it than just having a good macro lens.

I love macro because of the details one can capture, which you have done very nicely in these two photos. Coincidentally yesterday, after watching a you tube video, created a DYI flash diffuser using a pringles can. I used it around small objects in the house and was quite impressed by it. I've been following Max on Instagram and Fb for a while, he is really good about sharing the behind the scenes. Looking forward to more macro shots from you smile
