Łódź - a city with an artistic soul

Strolling through Łódź we discovered more and more artistic "touches" to the city. Almost around every corner there was a mural, a 3D mural, a monument or a sculpture.

An "upside-down" mural incorporating the windows on the side of the building. What you can't see is the children's playground just below it.

Very bold 3D mural made with what looked like pieces of a car or a truck, plastic washbasin and miscellaneous objects.

Łódź is Polish version of American Hollywood. It is Polish capital of film making and "everything" connected with cinematography, directing and acting. There is even the "celebrity strip" with bronze stars dedicated to different Polish "movie star". Roman Polański studied directing in Łódź.
