the thing i went to the moon with

it was summer 1976. NASA just had given up on sending astronauts to the moon and was placing the viking robot lander on mars, while me and my crew was preparing the space ship to fly to the moon and back.

here shown for the first time, this rare analogue photographic document shows a detail of the rocket and my ground crew preparing to fire up the engines for a pre-flight test (upper left in this picture).

from left to right:
- edward g. walkin spittler, 1st rocket engineer
- jamie p. dark'ah spittler, life support systems specialist
- ronald f. crumper spittler, lead flight ground control
- louis d. armstrong spittler (front), 2nd pilot and lunar lander commander

during a time of oil crisis and environmental alertness, the space craft was designed to run on organic fuel only and was technologically way ahead of it's time.

today, the space flight grounds are a biological contaminated wasteland, as shown in my recent report. [photoblog.com]
