i am rarely posting here anymore, but the announcement of the relaunch of photoblog did draw me back! and WOW! what a great job the developers have done! thanks, ram, for having gone through this - the site looks refreshed, modernized, amazing and most of all - very clean and usalble, despite all the new functionality! :-)

@Michael thanks for the compliments and feedback on the forum. Hope to see you more often here.
I also heard you are helping out others to navigate and I thank you for that. I think change is always hard, especially after a decade of using the old system.

ram, you're welcome. i think you've outdone yourself with this work. really. i know how hard it is to renew an old, encrusted, matter-of-factly system, i'm professionally working on replacing an old application myself right now. the HORROR... ;-)

change is always a challenge - and it requires a lot enthusiasm to even want to go there. i hope many people will join photoblog as pro's and thus make your efforts a little rewarding!

Thanks, Michael. Nice to hear there is someone who understands the difficulty and frustrations of such a task. May I ask what language you are using for your application?

oh, i think it's java - i'm not doing the coding. actually, representing business side with insane requirements that seem to change every day andmy job is to massage the poor developers to squeeze every little impossible bit out of them. go figure... :-/

I am also delighted with the new look - slowly getting my head around it. Also help is readily at hand for us old go=irls - by admin. and P.B. members who are more adept with computer logic than me.
Pleased to see you here again and your fish-eye readily finds a smile.
All the best to you Michael - from one of the old ladies. Mx

I agree with you. Sometimes we need to get rid of old habits and refresh our own brain.

yep! and start exploring this new ocean of possibilities! :-)

i'm really sick with all the bickering of oldsters in the forum and on my facebook support page... i know, it's all just about expectation management and getting your head around that you're not the only person in the universe wanting to post pictures, but yeah. i always disliked this bad side effect of our sworn in old ladies coffe club of know-it-alls here.

hey, nice to see you're still around! :-)
