I really like trying to paint hands too and seem to better with them than faces , Dali's portrait is fabulous.

Beauty & the Beast?
I like the apparent transparency of the primary subjects....reflections on the glass???

who is the beast, which the beauty?

yes, reflections of the room in which they were displayed. cool that you see that. my photographer's eye entirely blended that out in hope to get the perfect pic. FAIL! ;-)

Guess we'd have to examine their souls before we could determine the answer to your query...(grin)
In one of my posts:

I did some photos utilizing reflections combined with the main subjects to yield
a composite image, which I hoped would be greater than the sum of the two parts.....

deceiving... but interesting concept. I like the one with the sunlight in the doors/windows. :-)

good luck with searching for those "souls" - I assume you have a good detector for them and a description that helps you to identify them! ;-)

Reminds me of a singer called Laurie London ( probably the fifties) who had a hit with " In His Hands" and Max Bygraves with " You Need Hands"! As a teenager I loved both songs!
The first signifies Reach, the second Hold - Hold on tightly, but let go loosely - I especially like the significance of the second.
