Frankfurt new and old

I didn’t made a trip to Frankfurt in the last two years. Actually I don’t miss it because Vienna is my hometown for many years. But in autumn I get restless and I would like to visit Frankfurt, see my friends from school and of course attend the Frankfurt Book Fair. The Frankfurt Book Fair is a gigantic event which takes place every year during five days in October and in 2017, France will be the Guest of Honor. I love books and I like the Book Fair – although I had always a stuffed schedule. Sometimes it felt like a marathon: one hour for sleep, one hour to wake up again and lots of miles to walk.

So in the end I took always a day of for a calm sentimental tour with my camera.

Trade Fair Tower with 257 m (843 ft) - my favorite skyscraper, because it looks like a pencil.
