Turnouts

I’m a car driver through and through. Actually my car is my body extension. Therefore – and for some other reasons - I’m absolutely not interested in traveling by rail. It's deadly boring. Even something like midget or toy railroads bore me to tears. After max. 5 minutes I have seen it from front and behind and upside down. Then nothing is to do anymore but to run away as fast as possible. But I’m fascinated by the technical structures like turnouts or architecture like stations. The fascination comes from the regularity, the function and the organization - it seems, I like seriation and order, because it makes me curious. Something my desk is completely missing, because there rules the inspiration of chaos.
