Victoria always knows the best restaurants. Therefore we celebrated Roland's birthday today at Santos Bar she recommended. The place is a nice combination of modern, traditional and recycled elements. Waiter and waitress were as friendly as humorous and attentive. The food was incredible good and had a wide range of specialties as well as combinations of traditional and modern Mexican cuisine. Thirst is more dangerous than hunger, therefore the restaurant provides a wide range of beer – sadly not to my taste, because I prefer pitch black, bitter tasting beer -, cocktails and homemade lemonades.
It already became a habit of mine last year to photograph everything, everybody, everywhere at any time - somehow I have infected my husband with this bad behavior too. Please, don't worry, I will not pester you with every picture I took of the meal, the drinks, the guests, the restaurant or my trousers and fingers, which I accidently photographed a couple of times too. I picked some pictures as a symbol for all the good moments and all the good food we had. It's the lemonade, which Victoria ordered. It is so colorful and nice to look at, that I had to post the picture. The lemonade tasted very refreshing, not to sweet and had no hint of an herbal tea – although half of a meadow was swimming on top of the crushed ice. I'm sure the dried remains of the meadow were not an import from Mexico but maybe from Upper Austria!
