This week's theme is "Look what I’ve made!" (30th April to 6th May).
It is the most complicated challenge ever, therefore have some fun and join in too! On the other hand it's a challenge worth to join, because everybody should be capable to present his own biz, own talent or own everyday DIY.
There are so much gifted people around, that I feel small and completely ungifted. I can't design gorgeous crochet products or cook mouthwatering food or build useful bird feeders. I would strangle myself, cut into my finger or burning down the house.
What I really can do – but obviously not in English - is writing - very often the same stuff for different target groups. I wrote a lot of texts for exhibitions. I'm a text specialist for visitors with special needs, teachers and pupils. Now I'm struggling to present "what I've made" in pictures. So I picked from my stock just one pictures to explain my work.
Look what I have made …
… for an exhibition in Upper Austria:
I wrote texts in easy-to-read, texts for the sign language interpreter, dialogue texts for blind visitors spoken by a male and female voice as an audio description (orientation and history/objects) and texts for teachers and pupils. The work sheets for teachers and pupils were for three different levels and of course with different tasks and exercises. Although the exhibition was temporary, the work sheets are still available (free download on my website - please scroll down to Arbeitsblätter).
