Cornflower

by Sigrid Strohschneider-Laue May. 18, 2018 1619 views

Today I visited my parents - just a short visit to do the grocery shopping and other important stuff until next week. On my way back to Vienna, I stopped to take pictures from place right beside the street. Between the street and a field full of rapeseed was a nectar source - in German called "Bienenweide" (bee meadow?). Just a 3 m wide and 20 m long area with colorful, sweet smelling different blossoms. I shot more than 200 photos ... Yes, I'm an idiot, but it was such a beautiful opportunity to gather a bouquet without harming the flowers. When I went back to my car, I had to change my shoes, wet and full of mud - dirty beyond recognition. I fear my Converse are ruined, but it was worth it.

Lisa started a flower challenge. It will be easy to fill the next days with lot of flowers from this beautiful place I found today. Please join in too and help to create a garden on Photoblog.

Goooood idea - Roland wasn't sooo eager to help with cleaning and so they are still in a "intersting" shape.
