When I was in Innsbruck, I visited Schloss Ambras. It was the second visit and I could do it again and again and again. I love it for its beautiful surroundings, the immense history, the incredible collection and of course for the impressive architecture. But this will be theme for another post.
The first thing I photographed was an inhabitant: a peacock. He tried to enter the visitor center, because he begged for food. His begging was very demanding and loud – maybe in another live he was a singer for a heavymetal band. Later he found two young victims, easily to impress, who fell for is beauty. The children were very eager to feed him and he was very generous to show them his best behavior.
Food is most of the time the trigger – maybe therefore are political banquets are so important, otherwise the uncivilized maniacs of the world would eat up each other. Maybe we should cancel banquets and let them tear up and gobble down each other.
The hen was acting like a queen. She was overlooking her park from a wall, overgrown by ivy. She was constantly grooming every feather on her body. It was almost impossible to take a clear and sharp picture of her. Something was always out of focus.
