Symbol Picture

Working for 18 hours until 03:00 at night, getting up at 09:00 in the morning and working for another 8 hours without a break. When Roland came home I was still in my pajamas and his (!) terry robe. I also have forgotten to eat and to drink, but at least I did a short break to brew some more coffee. At the end of the second day I was capable to salvage, repurpose, rewrote a text for a very interesting project. Maybe the visitors will have fun with it and learn something new. If I will get paid properly, I will buy this incredible gigantic and expensive Nikon lens ...

Btw I photographed this "melange" (coffee with hot and foamed milk) during an excursion with colleagues in the Czech Republic. Today I had no time to take new pictures and now I will change pyjamas and go to bed.

Hope they pay you well after all the work and hope you buy the 28-300mm :)

Right now I borrowed Tom's 70-210mm F1.4-5.6 zoom (it's an older lens from the 1990s). I can use the lens for some time and I think afterwards I will decide which lens I want to buy.

Well, at least the deadline was met and now you can look forward to the "incredible gigantic and expensive Nikon lens"... by the way, what is it, I'm intrigued? And no doubt I will be jealous as I have all Nikon equipment but the newest lens is over 10 years old now.

The deadline was already dead and rotting for a month before I was asked. Sometimes I feel like Scotty the miracel worker, although I become a Klingon sometimes.
I'm really lucky: before I have to decide, which lens I will buy, Tom (https://www.photoblog.com/thomas2/) will borrow me his zoom lens - maybe today ...

That is lucky. The "standard" lens I use almost all the time is a Nikon 18-200mm F3.5-5.6 VR zoom. I got it nearly 15 years ago and it's still going strong. I think it has been updated a couple of times over the years with new releases but I would highly recommend it.

Today I wanted to take some pictures with Tom's 70-210mm F1.4-5.6 zoom (it's an older lens from the 1990s) - AND it rained!!! Ok, I could take some pictures, but I posted only one. I had some problems I can't explain (some EE error). I changed lens, accu, changed the lens again and it worked just fine. I should do it systematically and not try all at once ... *sigh* Ok, I can use the lens for some time and I think afterwards I will decide which lens I want to buy.

As with all these things it depends what YOU want but i personally like the wide angle end of the lens I have. I take a lot of landscape pics and the 18mm end of the range is very useful. Anyway, I'm sure you will enjoy experimenting.
