And Now for Something Completely Different

Felix, our adopted dog, became very fast a family member. After two days he was at home. After three days he became my shadow. Meanwhile I should call him my body extension, at least he is behaving like something glued to my leg. Of course he loves all family members and they love him too, but in the end he is my best pal!

Funny thing, he knows I like to photograph during our walks. He already learned to wait until I took all the pictures. But he is failing as a dog model. The problem is, he doesn't like to have more than 50 cm distance between us. Therefore he is travelling in the left backseat right behind my back. He is sitting in his basket - I call it his mobile home - like the King of the world.

The only person he honored with a jump on the lap is my father. I have to help my father from his wheelchair into the front seat of the car. Last time Felix waited until I stepped back, right away he jumped on my father's lap. I never saw two men more happy, until I had to secure Felix with his seat belt in the backseat ... Btw Felix is an excellent and disciplined companion, when I have to push the wheelchair.

I'm sure I made a very healthy decision, although my feet and knees are telling another story. At least my scales doesn't beg me for mercy anymore. On the other hand Felix gained more weight since everybody wants to give him treats!

My mother knitted three light blue and green sweaters. I tried crochet - don't ask ... I bought a yellow jacket for arctic days, a red coat for half arctic days, a transparent plastic coat for rainy days and a blue trikot for every other day and when I just looked at him, he was wearing his very own pelt.
I'm an idiot and didn't expect to act like that!

I totally disagree on the idiot part!!!
And you did great, also beacuse Felix seems comfortable in his clothes.
If I try to put something on Skizzy, she walks in deep shame, very slowly, looking around, hoping nobody sees her. smile

BTW, there's no such thing like TOO MANY when it comes to our family members exclamation

Thanks! 😊
No I can't knit, but my mother ❤ did an excellent job in knitting three (!) coats.

He is a gorgeous dog and on top of that he is well behaved. You truly got lucky and I am definitely extremely jealous.😉

Don't say so, today he is joining a meeting and I hope for the best. A colleague of mine owns a very charming french bulldog. I fear for the worst: nobility vs outlaw ...

Thankfully, the dog was absent. Brachycephalic breeds are his archenemies and a male one on top of that ...
