Macro and close up photography - Weekly Theme

by Sigrid Strohschneider-Laue March. 26, 2019 2068 views

I like this challenge! Maybe I don’t do macros, but I’m sure I do al lot of close ups. I always will step closer and closer, afterwards I will get closer and closer with the lens. All this intimacy with more or less helpless objects in front of the lens, because of my eyes. Without my glasses I have to see the blood red retina in the backgorund of a lion's eye, before I will see the lion itself. I also stepped too close to the greater burdock. Its prickly heads sticked for days in my cloths.

Thanks! blush  A little bit closer and all of them would have turned my hair into a messy birds nest.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the colors and texture, and I'm like you, I am always wanting to get closer to things!

Thanks, I was surprised, it worked out so well, because the light was already fading.

Thanks, the "unwanted botany" has always the most beautiful blossoms.

Ain't it the truth! Thank God not all creations are not solely for human appreciation.
I'm sure there are plenty of other creatures that may find things that may be repugnant or a nuisance to us, as perfectly beautiful and desirable to them......no????smile+1
