A beetle, hidden in plain sight! Camouflaged by pollen. Its black forewings were almost invisible under the mass of yellow. When I tried to my very best to get a good picture, I touched some nettles. Nasty warriors at the wayside but beautiful. Even the blossoms look like they want to bite! In and outside of my mother's garden are blue carpets of muscari. A "bell banquet" for bees. The blooming cherry tree in our neighbors garden caught my eye too. Of course I wished for nothing else but fresh cherries. As greedy as I am, I know this will take some more time.
Last week I couldn't photograph much, but I'm not sad about it. I hope for better and warmer weather this week, at least I hope for less cold and no snow. Yes, snow - completely unnecessary at this time of the year. Actually, I don't want to search for white Easter eggs in snow!
