Time Travel

I'm still experimenting with my camera. Sadly, I have not much spare time the last few weeks. At least Roland and I got the chance for a short visit in Stillfried (Lower Austria). The small village is well known for its large fortified settlement from the late Bronze Age. Back in the 1970s and in the 1980s we were working at digs, which took place since 1874, in different areas of this large monument (23 ha). Somehow I could never get rid of Stillfried, because I was involved in some projects, which tried to reveal some aspects of the hidden past of this famous site.

I photographed a lot, but in the end the most interesting pictures are of "village decay". The house, the workshops are closed for a long time and the old construction trailer seems to be occupied from time to time by bored village teens.

Glad to see you took some time off to have a little fun. Missing your sense of humor but I understand that you have to taken on the burden since Roland is retired now 😜😉

In 100 generations somebody is gonna dig up these remains and ask himself what the hell these people were doing smile
