Imposing tower across from our flat on Calton Hill. there are some interesting juxtapositions of old and new architecture such as this.

Near our close on the Royal Mile. The gusty wind has blown pink petals from the cherry trees onto the wet road. What looked like a lot of garbage was actually quite pretty once we realized what it was.
