Spent today trekking in Stanley Park with our friend Yves Abel. He is here to conduct La Traviata. Actually had sunshine. There is meant to be 50-75 mm of rain for the next three days. We wisely spent today outdoors

Lost Lagoon, which we found near the end of the park. Very still water. Vancouver can be very pretty. Too bad about the rain! We were exhausted by the time we got back to our Airbnb, but the walking was excellent and a nice lunch at Prospect Point,

I love these photos...and your link to Abel. We went to 'The Marriage of Figaro' Sunday at the San Francisco Opera, conducted by Nanasi. Loved the music! Loved the singers!

Did you see Yves’ Romeo and Juliet in San Francisco. Got great reviews. We have seen him in Ottawa, Santa Fe and Coventry Gardens, and concerts in Toronto. Wonderful to have a couple of days with him here in Vancouver
