Once upon a time in a place right here …
Moi was quite happy with a digital wonder a Fuji point and shoot called F30. In fact, I sold another digital I had called the Fuji Finepix S7000 to a friend because I had only used it once since I bought it three or four years back. As you can imagine I was not into photography … I collected portfolios as art, but always imagined it was something not meant for mere mortals and stuck to writing poetry, and long winded posts instead :)
But all that changed a few months back when Zoran brought in an Asahi Pentax ME and showed me the pictures he took with it … I could see right away a discernible difference between film even though it was scanned in, and the digital shots … and then over the next few days he started talking very poetically about “the quality of light” … “fast lenses” … I was hooked.
I've since switched over completely to film myself.
So last week when Zoran got back from his trip back home, he brought some more old cameras … Here they are in all their glory.
I'll leave it for the viewers to guess which ones are which … For those who get it all right … I am offering an imitation of a Flipado doll. These things have become collector's items ever since they were stolen by C……………. and now are fetching huge prices on the black market. My imitation is a genuine fake and so is worth even more :)

That's a special magnifying glass used to examine the grain on prints … details details details

This one's got a built in lightmeter … it gives you the readings but it's not coupled, so you have to set the aperture and/or speed manually …. Nice!!!

And this is a ……… guess what???
