Orange Aversion
I've known for awhile now that Ellie won't eat orange fruit snacks. This morning after breakfast I found an orange bowl of Fruit Loops with only the orange ones left. Hmmm...
Today I visited my sister-in-law's ward for church. There was a Haitian family sitting near us. I noticed that one of the boys, about age 10, was missing an arm. When I asked Adrieana about it, she told me the story. She said the family was in the last big earthquake in Haiti. 3 of the kids were missing for days. They found this boy in the rubble. The only way they found him was because they heard him singing the song "I Am A Child of Child". It reminded me of the scripture in the Book of Mormon.... Alma 40:23. It's talking about after the resurrection. It states, "The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame."
That little boy will have his arm back someday. That makes me happy.
