Hiking In Wells Mills County Park

The New Jersey Pine Barrens is home to a number of state parks and wildlife refuges, and when the weather is nice enough we like to go out and try to take advantage. Wells Mills Country Park is one such park in Ocean County, NJ, that offers several trails and enough hilliness to keep the blood pumping, plus lots of wildlife if you're lucky enough to come across them. Here are a few pictures from our time there.

Bald Eagles in NJ had been almost wiped out in the '70's. Now, there are over 150 of them. We were lucky enough to see two of them fly overhead; I didn't have time to change lenses, but I did manage to grab a few shots of one of them.
