NZ Series | The Milford Sound

This fiord in New Zealand’s South Island probably needs no more introduction. Just noting that it is also known as the 8th Wonder of the World - and there's no kidding to that.

Milford Sound

A journey to the Milford Sound

Waterfalls at the Fiord

Bowen Falls spotted first

Return ticket to Milford - pictures

The shooting began.

It is the winter season.

Milford Cruise

Cruising the fiord. Graced with a beautiful day. Rain in here is 90% of the times that we were told.

sunny day

Such a sunny day and beautiful skyline.

Photography lover

And we cannot stop shooting while appreciating. Like we stayed out in the deck most of the cruise time.

this guys

Peaceful habitat probably their home.

waterfalls of milford

Passing by the 2nd waterfall - Stirling Falls. Legend says the water from this waterfall can make people younger!!! Should have take a bottle or two ;)

Striling Falls

We get pretty close to it too.

milford sound cruise

Cruising back.

I'm truly grateful having this two with me as I experience wonderful adventures and explore what else are out there in this wide wide world. It intensifies the happiness and amazement having them to share it with.

milford sound vibrant

Why it's becoming more and more beautiful on the way back!

Flares and blue sky and cotton clouds.

Eh aerial view would be lovely too!!!!

rainbow and bowen falls.

This faint farewell rainbow belongs into this series too.

alps

Fogs are crawling...close to hugging the Alps and trees.

farewell falres

And we are near the ferry terminal.

The Milford Sound

For journeys that need thousand miles are usually the ones that leave us speechless...with a happy heart on the way back. You are beautiful Milford - indeed.

And thank you so much for scrolling over this series.

The Milford Sound experience is one of the bests and most unforgettable adventures I’ve ever had so far. We had to drive 300km one way from Queenstown to reach this beautiful find. And that is totally okay as the road to Milford Sound is awesomely amazing - like we had to do a lot of stopovers. That made our final destination more than a destination. One of the road trips that allowed us to see how diversely beautiful His creation is.

We joined the Southern Discovery cruise to get super close to the beauty of Milford, and that just left me speechless most of the time…or just wow here and there…like wows! And more wows that I got confused where else to shoot. lols!

This is Milford Sound through my lens to you. Cheers!
