NZ Series | Spa Thermal Park

So that day... our final destination is Huka Falls.

We searched and relied with GPS again how to get there. It routed us to the Spa Thermal Park in Taupo where we parked and commenced an estimated 1 hour of walking. When we reached Huka Falls....guess what we saw....I mean aside from the amazing Huka Falls itself [which I'll be sharing separately]...We saw a parking lot 2-minute away from the waterfalls' lookout!!! LOLS! Then all we can say is....Huka Huka Huka!!! Hahaha!

But with this I was able to further validate the saying:

Everything happens for a reason.

Because we took the long route... we were able to witness a beautiful sunset at Lake Taupo and something so magical mystical - our first ever Milky Way experience in the wilderness! [I'll write this two separately too *wink.]

For now - some snaps at the Spa Thermal Park. Cheers again!

Spa Thermal Park

Feeling the Earth's ground. When was the last time ever did this?

Spa Thermal Park

We just started the walk from the parking lot....but this bench looking out to Waikato River is too tempting.

Spa Thermal Park

While on it...snapped some duo shots too.

Spa Thermal Park

This kind of sighting would make any trek just easy and wow. so what if there's actually a parking lot in the other side huh? LOLS!

Spa Thermal Park

Oh and this might be the reason why it's a thermal park. Natural hot spa! Like steaming! If only we are so prepared lols! Doing the homework sometimes can be helpful. lols!

We were trekking and out for like 3HRs plus, and forgot the gopro installed here. But look it's still there!

Huka Huka Huka! Soon!

Very nice shots. Beautiful, relaxing place! I would like to lie out there on the ground too..think I will lie on a patch of nice grass we have here under some trees :-)

:) Definitely MUST go Ram! beautiful place with beautiful people. read about a photographer who went to NZ for holiday. he loved the place so much that he decided to prolong his stay, and wanted to stay longer - so used his photography skills as source of income and until now, still living in the KIWI world! :)

Fantastic place! Great photos! Looks like U 2 R having the time of your lives! I'm not surprised that your GoPro was still there. The Kiwis, especially in the rural areas, are very honest, helpful & kind!
Rock On!!!
Cheers!
